WHAT ARE INTEGRATED SERVICES?

PackOnline announces its iServices (integrated Internet Business Services - IBS) breakthrough

Historically, only large enterprises have had the means to make use of outsourced business services to improve their daily operations. Small businesses have been left to their own devices to cope with needs like marketing, collections, call centers and financial management. Now, PackOnline helps businesses unleash their potential by providing access to services online, fully integrated into a web-based business management application or seamlessly linked to their current business management software. This is the integrated Internet Business Services breakthrough.

Today's problem

Delivering services to businesses online today runs into a minefield of problems. Staff often must re-enter duplicate information for each online service provider, make unwieldy file transfers, and navigate through a myriad of web-sites and screens to get anything done. As a result, most businesses still carry on with labor-intensive manual processes in operating their businesses. Instead of serving customers, business employees are shuffling papers, faxes, and phone calls.

PackOnline's iServices solution

By fully integrating access to online services, PackOnline makes services convenient and effective for business use. We call this approach iServices, short for integrated Internet Business Services. Since iServices are operated from inside an online application there is no need to double enter information, transmit files, or deal with inter-system headaches. Services are now easier, smoother, faster, and more reliable.

Beyond the ASP the iServices concept

PackOnline's iServices approach goes an important step beyond the role of today's Application Service Providers. Moving business management applications from the desktop into an ASP model offers clear advantages vs. traditional desktop software: freeing the businesses from the headaches of system operation and maintenance, opening up access to their customers and peers, and reducing costs.

But, by integrating services into a web-based application, the value of web-based business management goes far beyond these systems improvements offered by the traditional ASP. In fact, while businesses today typically spend 5 to 10 times as much on outsourced services as they spend on traditional business management software with iServices they would seamlessly outsource these services directly from their existing database.

iServices is a unique, proprietary approach

PackOnline's web-based ASP approach puts us in a unique position to make iServices possible.

Traditional desktop software for business management lacks the real-time connectivity to enable true online access to services. Small business portals are not closely linked with the underlying business data and processes, and so have difficulty going beyond simply offering a place for the occasional buying and selling transaction. Service providers, on their own, require duplicate data entry efforts to make themselves available online.

PackOnline's approach to integrate services within an online, hosted application provides an advantage that none of these other approaches can match.
