PackOnline extends iServices to second vertical market.

Practice management system for chiropractors surpasses limits of ASP model.

HERNDON, VA - (February 7, 2001) - PackOnline, Inc., a vertical integrated services provider, today announced the launch of Chiro.PackOnline v1.0, the company's latest replication of its groundbreaking Integrated Services (iServices) model. Chiro.PackOnline (www.chiro.packonline.com), makes a range of highly useful outsourced services available conveniently and easily online to chiropractic practices. The model was first developed and applied to dentistry in November when PackOnline launched Dental.PackOnline v4.0, and to a variety of online outsourced iServices.

"The extension into another vertical market so soon after the launch of Dental.PackOnline v4.0 shows the speed at which PackOnline is able to address new markets with our iServices technology," said PackOnline Chief Operating Officer Richard S. Christner. "Our technology tools and a common Integrated Services backbone will let us continue to move quickly to even more markets over the coming months."

PackOnline's iServices model is a breakthrough approach to providing small businesses like chiropractic practices with online access to business services that improve productivity and marketing effectiveness. "We see chiropractic practices benefiting just as strongly from the ease of use and business advantages of Integrated Services as the dental practices," Christner said.

Chiro.PackOnline v1.0 integrates features such as appointment scheduling, HCFA insurance claims, the latest ICD-9 and CPT codes, case histories, reports, patient balances and SOAP notes. Chiropractors can achieve economies and efficiencies with automatic outsourcing of bills, electronic submission of insurance claims, automated marketing correspondence (including birthday cards and revival of inactive patient letters), and secured sharing of X-rays and case information. The company estimates the applicationšs efficiencies will save chiropractors the equivalent of a half-employee as well as make immeasurable conveniences for patients.

Patients may review their case information and billing records through a secure, individualized Web page. Research has shown patients considering new treatments prefer time to make their decisions away from the presence of the doctor. Access to their records, and the time to evaluate treatment options, will allow them to make decisions with which they are more comfortable, and increase patient retention.

PackOnline Inc. (www.packonline.com), headquartered in Herndon, Va., and with offices in Paris and Montreal, is a vertical integrated services provider that connects business services providers to their small business customers.
