HERNDON, VA - (November 20, 2000) -PackOnline, Inc., a Herndon-based application service provider, today announced the launch of Dental.PackOnline v4.0, the first Web-native practice management system application designed to integrate seamlessly all the online and offline tools and services necessary to manage dental practices.
Dental.PackOnline v4.0 is a breakthrough advance that combines a dentist’s patient information database with previously offline services, such as insurance claims processing, image sharing and scheduling. The 100 percent-online system is automatically delivered and immediately available to subscribers through a standard browser, making obsolete the wasteful business time of downloading of and training on upgraded software.
In the near future, PackOnline intends to adapt the system for use by other small professional service businesses, such as veterinary practices or beauty salons. Its Dental.PackOnline allows dental practices to share data with staff, patients, laboratories and insurance companies.

In addition to improved efficiencies and conveniences, Dental.PackOnline v4.0 functionally extends the operations of dental practices to patients and dental professionals beyond specific office hours or locations, allowing access to the practice at any time and from any place.
