With Abovenet we have developed a unique technology to back-up all data multiple times per day on multiple servers in multiple locations. We also use separate ISP's and backbones. This secure multi-redundancy technology has reduced the risk of losing data to essentially zero.

Multi-redundancy

PackOnline's multi-redundancy technology reduces the risk of losing data to virtually zero. By utilizing several servers at different locations, PackOnline maximizes the availability of data and minimizes the possibility of service interruption. Our backup servers are always on standby in case any of our main servers were to fail. Multi-redundancy ensures that a physical problem at one location (e.g. loss of power, a fire) does not affect the availability of your data.

Data backup

PackOnline servers are backed up multiple times a day at each server location using the latest backup technology. Backup tapes and CD-ROMs are kept in secure storage for a minimum of three years.

Data backup service

PackOnline can ship to its clients a complete copy of its clients entire database in a number of formats, from a printed copy to ASCII extract backups. This allows to retain a copy of data at a location of their choice.
